anyway tmr csm everybody enjoy yourself. ehh pity that no one from our class is running if not there will be more meaning in cheering. talk abt cheering everyone muz support mingyang a bit k! cheer for artemis coz there is cheering competition going on and if artemis is the best we get 80 fac points and we stand a better chance for the fac shield and imagine mingyang holding up the shield thats 2/3 his body, hold a little higher and his head will disappear lmao dont you wanna see? SO muzzz cheer k! and dont even think of mugging there. if you can mug anything of that setting i seriously salute you. and have a great outing tmr!!

cos i saw manymany fireflies in m'sia yesternight(:
fireflies are such prettypretty things, i was so amazed :D
the whole thing was so sweet, even though the boat ride was a little scary cos we went quite a long way, deeeeeep into the jungle, and the waters were quite choppy at certain parts.

and the best thing was their blinking was synchronized(: (which is mentioned in wiki too!)-- Tropical fireflies, particularly in Southeast Asia (Thailand and Malaysia), routinely synchronize their flashes among large groups, a startling example of spontaneous biological order. This phenomenon occurs through the night along river banks in the Malaysian jungles every day of the year.

oh but i HATE EMUS!! i went to a stupid ostrich farm too yesterday and there were emus running around in the open :S it was so scary, even if they only reached my shoulder, cos they were free to RUN around. and there was this stupid emu charging around cos another stupid emu was pecking its butt. walao.
pity i couldn't sit on the ostriches cos you've got to be under 30kg. ouch.
but i ate ostrich satay muahaha.

Ok ppl,
You all want an outing directly after CSM, 11am? Maybe can go cycling etc. and stuff.... (ECP?) Do some activities which is not strenuous lo (confirm tired after cheering and escaping from CSM)... Not sure how many of you can go, but try and keep that time free (and bring money of course!)?

Besides this, we have to make some noise-making equipment for CSM (for cheering la duh...). Hence, we will standardize the equipment during CT session. Everyone will most likely be doing their individual equipment (simple one, not asking you to bring HI-FI set and blast the entire school!)

Your class t-shirt will (NOT may arh...) be delayed for at most 2 weeks plus. For more info., please inquire Pao^2 on details (Seems he hasn't quite finished the last few touch-ups yet XD) Price range should be from 13-16 bucks. But thanks to Mrs Tam, individuals only need to pay the cost minus $10, which is quite a boon to all of us. (THANKS MRS TAM!!!)

On HAT THAT, do you all want to meet up slightly beforehand @ some place? You could do your last minute shopping for your hats etc.? Anyone interested, just get more people and tell me! And if possible, wear "guai lan" hats. Dun go and wear any normal caps ok? Hmm... At least a bandana or balaclava should do. Most importantly, look cool and look good!

And of course, Ming Yang is the one representing our class for the Fac Prince competition. So if you got any great suggestion for him (e.g. Watermelon/ Durian cap), just tell us (and him) about it. Make it as wacky as possible! Best that Zhi Rui agrees to similar headgear as well, then can 配合 each other! Higher chance of winning right?

Lastly, we will be celebrating April's birthday boys and girls this/ next week. We'll inform you soon about it... It can either be a quick or long one. Up to the birthday people to decide. If you all wanna stay back in school and celebrate @ night after CCA, also no problem. We can do it in school till about 8pm bah. Better than going to KAP right? lol

YO guys i would like to use the chance to encourage everyone to watch our concert "Inspirations VIII" proudly presented to you by the Hwa Chong String Ensemble. The concert is on the 10th of May, Saturday at the College Auditorium starting from 7.30pm.

I personally feel this concert is worth going because the programme is an interesting mix of classical, modern, pop and folk pieces from various time periods and country of origin.

The pieces we are playing include famous classic pieces like GRIEG's Holberg Suite and TCHAIKOVSKY's Serenade in C which you would definitely have heard before even if you do not know the title. Also, short lively pieces like the chinese song 快乐的萨丽哈 will definitely be a very interesting twist to the more heavy classical music earlier on in the programme.

Faculty Outing is @ Mount Faber on 19th April (A SATURDAY!) around 6pm++ (not sure exact timing la...).

SO... I NEED ALL OF YOU GALS AND GUYS TO PAY $18 TO ME BY MONDAY(4 APRIL)!

AND we need 1 pair of students (of course boy and girl la... then?) to represent our class also. Dun force us to push you la... If you want to be famous or be a 厚脸皮 person, JUST VOLUNTEER YOURSELF! "PROFESSIONAL" matchmaking service shall be provided exclusively for YOU!

TO WIN THE BEST CT Thingy rite... I guess all of you want to wear your super-exclusive CLASS T-SHIRT rite? We shall confirm that on Monday as well and GET IT OUT ASAP!

FOR YOUR HATS... hmmm... we can decide on a common item (RUBBISH BIN? Haha.. -.-") Or you can wear whatever you want (balaclava, ski mask, goggles, swimming cap ....) BUT EVERYONE MUST WEAR OK?

Let's congratulate Xiaoyao, Mingyang, Wenbo and Lijie on their successful campaign in the council elections. (Nvm... I can still be the class CT rep ok!)

Anyway... we have some birthday boys/girls this month. They are:

Shou Kee, Meng Yun and Guo Jun.

We will most likely be holding your birthdays in the middle of the month. It will be more cost-friendly and can celebrate as a class simultaneously (or else people can't make it here or there.)

Btw, do you guys want another class outing? Perhaps not so early... We could plan a class dinner after some activity @ a later date. (Cycling? Some of you want to cycle...) Please tag to comment also.

And for those who are designing the t-shirt right, don't forget you have to show the class next Monday. You need not necessary stick to what we discuss this Monday, but try to keep to them if possible. If you want to design more, it's BETTER!
